1. Scope

This Privacy Policy applies to the VoiceStage iOS app, the website at www.elclwow.cn, and related VoiceStage services operated by VoiceStage.

2. Information we collect

Voice and performance information

When you participate as an actor and grant microphone access, VoiceStage processes your live microphone audio. After you give recording consent for a performance, VoiceStage may record your actor track, upload it to our service, and combine it with other actor tracks and stage audio to produce a completed replay.

Identifiers and stage activity

We process a pseudonymous participant identifier, assigned role, Performance ID, recording-consent and readiness state, stage events, timestamps, and technical session credentials needed to connect you to the correct performance.

Website waitlist information

If you join the VoiceStage waitlist, we collect your email address, whether you are interested in performing or listening, and the date and time of your submission.

Network and diagnostic information

Our services and service providers may process IP address, request time, connection state, device and operating-system details, audio-route information, error details, and similar technical information needed to deliver, secure, and troubleshoot the service. VoiceStage does not use advertising SDKs or third-party analytics in the current app or website.

3. How we use information

We use information to:

• create and manage live VoiceStage performances;
• transmit actor audio and let listeners hear the stage;
• record, process, troubleshoot, and produce completed performance replays;
• maintain session continuity and recover from connection interruptions;
• protect VoiceStage, investigate misuse, and enforce recording-consent rules;
• send requested release and early-access updates to waitlist members; and
• respond to support, privacy, and deletion requests.

4. How we share information

We disclose information only as needed to operate VoiceStage, comply with law, or protect users and the service.

Service providers

VoiceStage uses Tencent Real-Time Communication (TRTC) to provide live audio transport and related network timing. TRTC may process participant identifiers, room identifiers, audio, device information, and connection diagnostics while providing that service. Hosting and infrastructure providers may process stored performance files and routine server traffic on our behalf.

Legal and safety disclosures

We may preserve or disclose information when reasonably necessary to comply with law, respond to valid legal process, protect rights or safety, investigate abuse, or defend VoiceStage.

We do not sell your personal information. We do not serve third-party advertising, and we do not use your data for cross-app tracking.

5. Data retention

We retain information only for as long as reasonably necessary to provide and secure VoiceStage, complete replay processing, troubleshoot failures, meet legal obligations, or resolve disputes.

• Actor tracks and completed replay files may be retained while needed for replay generation, operational troubleshooting, safety review, or a valid legal obligation.
• Performance identifiers, state, and event information may be retained with the related performance record.
• Waitlist information is retained until you unsubscribe, request deletion, or the waitlist is no longer needed.
• Security and diagnostic records are retained for the period reasonably needed to investigate reliability or security events.

We may retain limited information after a deletion request when required by law or when necessary to document that the request was completed.

6. Security

VoiceStage uses administrative and technical safeguards designed to protect information, including encrypted network connections, access controls, private storage for actor tracks, and short-lived service credentials. No method of transmission or storage can be guaranteed to be completely secure.

7. International processing

VoiceStage and its service providers may process information in countries other than the country where you live. Privacy and data-protection laws in those countries may differ from those in your jurisdiction. We use service providers only for the purposes described in this policy.

8. Your choices and rights

• You can deny or revoke microphone access in iOS Settings. Actors cannot publish or record audio without microphone access.
• You can choose whether to give recording consent for each performance. Without consent, you cannot take part as a recorded actor.
• You can unsubscribe from waitlist updates or ask us to delete your waitlist information.
• Depending on where you live, you may request access to, correction of, or deletion of personal information associated with you.

To make a request, email likahn1993@gmail.com. Include enough information for us to locate the relevant record. We may need to verify your request before acting on it.

9. Children

VoiceStage is intended for adults and is not directed to anyone under 18. If you believe a person under 18 has provided information to VoiceStage, contact us so we can review and remove it where appropriate.

10. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as VoiceStage changes. We will publish the revised policy on this page and update the effective date. Material changes will be communicated through the app, website, or another appropriate channel when required.
